At the Lisa Kay head office we all feel the Christmas spirit and are counting down the days until the big day. 1. Covent Garden

Covent Garden’s market buildings is even more irresistible at this time of the year. The famous market at the centre of Covent Garden is covered with golden colours and huge mistletoes. The smell of mulled wine and cute shops inside will really get you to grab your Santa hat and get gift shopping. Spot all 115000 lights sparkling through arches, Christmas trees and even running up on the historical buildings surrounding the square. 

2.Leicester Square

Find a tiny winter wonderland in the middle of Leicester Square. This small festive pop-up market makes its annual appearance every November for the Christmas period - bringing a whole load of food, sweets and festive treats. Grab a glass of mulled wine and spoil yourself for a delicious festive snack. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the market! It is available free of charge until the 5 th January 2020.

3.Winter Wonderland

The notorious London sensation, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has opened its gates to the public again this year. Featuring hundreds of food & drinks stands, bespoke goods, funfair rides and even a circus! There is plenty of adventurous entertainment for people of all ages and families. Make sure you’re wearing comfortable boots for pain free feet because the Christmas market is at much bigger scale than ever!

4.Ivy Garden

The breath-taking, Narnia inspired decoration is worth walking around at the Chelsea (King’s Road) branch of The Ivy Garden. They captured the novel’s theme perfectly, featuring an ice throne and the famous wardrobe that won’t take you through to a magical world but will take you to their magical bar & restaurant. The Ivy took it as far as adding a whole selection of festive cocktails, drinks and desserts to their menu, including Narnia Negroni- make sure to arrive in comfortable elegance for a picture on the ice throne!

5.Mercato Mayfair

Make sure to pop-in to Mercato Mayfair for an intimate festive meal. Mercato Metropolitano opened their second location in North Mayfair, London. This sustainable community market offers dishes from around the world inside a two-floor renovated church, which is finished with a simplistic Christmas tree. It really takes us back to what the festive season is about - good food and company.


Annabel’s is an all-day and all-night exclusive member only club, who usually go all out on Christmas decorations - and they didn’t disappoint this year . Covering the front of the building is a white and gold Christmas tree, which truly steals the spotlight. Even if you aren’t a member it’s worth the walk to look out because it is even more beautiful as you stand in front of it. Find Annabel’s at 46 Berkeley Square. They moved to their new mansion last year!

7.Natural History Museum Ice Rink 

To finish off your Christmas tour in London, kick off your comfort boots and put a pair of ice skates on. The ice rink at the Natural History Museum has the best atmosphere as they dress their garden with cosy fairy lights and anything Christmas themed!
